Laser Hair Removal
At Leah’s Waxworks, we offer safe, effective laser treatment that is on par with any treatment you will find in a medi-spa or clinic. We use CANDELA GentleLASE, which delivers the strongest and most effective hair removal results available in laser, no matter what your skin tone or hair colour.

Our highly trained beauty therapists are experts in hair removal and can use the laser to reach even the finest and trickiest hairs that are the hardest to reach.

Each therapist has been trained with a certified laser safety course provided by Syneron Candela and is adept at performing the treatment to make it as comfortable and efficient as possible. What’s more, CANDELA GentleLASE laser contains a medical grade skin cooling spray that works to cool, soothe and numb the area as it moves across the skin. Should you be very sensitive, you can purchase Emla numbing cream from the pharmacy and apply it one-hour prior to treatment.

For best results, please shave the area you are having treated at least one or two days prior to treatment, except for the face. If you are unable to do this, out therapists can assist for a $10 fee.

At Leah’s Waxworks, we offer Candela GentleLASE for $65 for 5 minutes, which is $10 below standard industry price. We also include extras free of charge, such as the anus area when you are having a Brazilian treatment.

If you are having Candela GentleLASE at our Hurstville salon, we can use a 24mm gauge, which cuts laser time in half.
Ingrown Hairs

If you have red hair and/or suffer from ingrown hairs, a course of 3 laser sessions will help clear the skin and soften the hair.
